Rosemary has been involved in music since infant school - learning to play the recorder there and always encouraged by her grandma (a music teacher and pianist). Later she benefited from free instrumental lessons in school on flute, violin and piano with the peripatetic teaching scheme. Now she is a piano, electronic keyboard and flute teacher, both privately and with the Milton Keynes music co-operative (http://www.mkmusiccoop.com/) so life has come full circle - although sadly lessons are no longer free.
Rosemary also plays the church organ at her local church St Giles Tattenhoe and plays for weddings around Milton Keynes. She helps with the Guild Singers ladies choir, and has recently ventured into the world of Ceilidh bands. She particularly likes accompanying, duet and two-piano work.
She joined Heart and Music early in 2015 and greatly appreciates the fact that the group raises money for charity. She also loves the wonderful mixture of repertoire and high standard of music making with a great bunch of fellow musicians.
