Fiona’s first theatrical appearance was as Mary, Mary, Quite Contrary in school at the age of 6 (no comments, thank you!). Such was her success, the part of Mary in the Nativity soon beckoned. Following in her siblings footsteps she joined her local junior theatre group at the age of 10 and never looked back. After 8 years performing in musicals and cabarets, Fiona left for university to study horticulture! During her student years Fiona joined various operatic societies and on landing in Milton Keynes to enter the world of work, she became part of the local theatre scene with Company MK, Milton Keynes Amateur Operatic Society, Into Sondheim, Music Makers of Milton Keynes and now Heart and Music.
From all her forays on stage some of Fiona’s favourite roles include Ado Annie in Oklahoma, Nancy in Oliver, Panacea in A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum, Celeste 1 in Sunday in the Park with George, Mayzie la Bird in Seussical and Dulcie in The Boyfriend.
Fiona is loving being part of Heart and Music. As well as the fabulous music and fundraising, it’s like being part of a big happy family!
