Performing with Heart and Music allows Judith to relax from her day job in Education. Her Mother claimed that she first began singing at the age of 9 months and she hasn't stopped since. Although her first love is acting she has been lucky enough to combine both her passion for acting and singing by performing Musical Theatre and Operetta in and around Milton Keynes, (although an original Essex girl, and brought up in Ruislip, Middlesex).
Judith trained at The Guildhall School of Music and Drama, and Warwick University. She has been fortunate to be given the opportunity to play many leading roles for local societies. Some of her favourite roles have included Svetlana in the award winning production of Chess, Mabel Normand in Mack and Mabel, Ado Annie in Oklahoma, Gertrude McFuzz in Seussical and Lilli Vanessi/Kate in Kiss me Kate, all for Milton Keynes Amateur Operatic Society, Phyllis in Iolanthe and Rose Maybud in Ruddigore for Wolverton Gilbert and Sullivan Society, Phyllia in A funny thing happened on the way to the forum for Company MK and The Witch in Into the Woods and Dot in Sunday in the Park with George for Into Sondheim.
Her claim to fame is that she has appeared on national television as a backing singer for the Tenor Russell Watson. Judith feels blessed to be rehearsing and performing with such gifted people in Heart and Music, all of whom have become friends, and is pleased to be reunited with the newest (and youngest) member of the group, Matt, who she once taught!!!!! (Not that this makes her feel old!)
